Change in defence acquisition has been implemented through an inter-related hierarchy of programmes, run by both the MoD and DE&S, as shown in Figure C-2.

The overall vision of the change programmes is aligned to the Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) white paper159 and recommendations of the Enabling Acquisition Change (EAC) report160.
