| Explanation | The project completed acceptance of the first two aircraft during June 2011 in a configuration able to support the achievement of an Initial Operational Capability. • Schedule: Following acceptance of the first two aircraft, the project is now confident of achievement of an In-Service Date by the forecast date. • Cost: Costs are within the approved Budget with remaining contingency commensurate with residual risks. • Requirements: The project requirements have been tested and plans for rectification of non-compliances at initial aircraft acceptance have been agreed. • Technical Understanding: Air Force is fully cognisant of the delivered capability and publications for operation and maintenance of the KC-30A tanker capability. • Operations and Support: The Through Life Support Contract is operative and the project is transitioning the KC-30A weapon system to Air Force. | ||||||||||
