Remedial Action

There is a possibility that the replacement combat system installation schedule will be affected by on-going changes to the FCD schedule and boat availability, leading to schedule extensions and significant cost increases to be borne by the project.

This risk is being treated by:

•  Monitoring the impact of a revised Usage Upkeep cycle.

•  Establishing project prolongation costs.

•  Assigning contingency funding to the last boat installation.

•  Monitoring remaining project funds and budget spend.

There is a possibility that completion of Category 3 and 4 Testing of future system integration and boat installations will be affected by a shortage of skilled personnel leading to an impact on schedule.
