Some major achievements have been made, including:
o The establishment of a joint venture which will represent the cluster MRF system, namely PaLiSam MRF, Inc., which is a non-stock, non-profit corporation. The board of Trustees of the PaLiSam Community MRF, Inc. will ensure the sustainability of the project and share the experiences with other local government units.
o The project documented the PaLiSam experience in setting up a PPP to manage a cluster MRF in 2 publications: "The socioeconomic Feasibility Study of a cluster- Barangays MRF system in 'Barangays' Palingon, Lingga, and Sampiruhan, in Calamba City" and "How to set up a cluster-barangay MRF".
o Replicating the gains of the PPPUE-SWM project. A project proposal was submitted to the PPPUE under the Flexible Response Mechanism Facility to ensure that the lessons learned in implementing the project in Calamba City are shared with other local government units.
