SO WHERE DOES CANADIAN PUBLIC OPINION STAND TODAY ON PPPS?

CR: Canadians across the country overwhelmingly are in support of PPPs, with 65 percent supporting them. But support does vary a bit across the sectors. So if you start talking about water, and wastewater, support is lower than for roads and other infrastructure, like bridges, hospitals and schools. And it differs across the country. But generally, Canadians, whether you are in a [labour] union household or not, whether you are in BC or Newfoundland and Labrador, you support PPPs because all Canadians recognise that our infrastructure needs improvement.
