•  The City of Chicago had lead responsibility to procure the project and managed the competitive process to let the concession.

•  The SCC is a private company owned by the Spanish Cintra Concessiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte (55 percent) and by the Australian Macquarie Investment Holdings (45 percent), both of which have been active investors in infrastructure projects.
