The primary purpose of the risk review workshop is to confirm the risk estimates and formulate risk management and mitigation strategies. The risk review workshop should, as a minimum, cover the following:
• identification of any further risks missed in the process to date
• confirmation of the proposed risk allocation for each delivery method
• a reality check of the risk estimates provided by the risk experts
• formulation of risk management and mitigation strategies.
At the end of the risk workshop, participants should sign off the risk register so that the risk modelling exercise can be completed and incorporated into the public sector comparator.
