Annexure 7 Public interest

The Public Interest Test is to assess whether the delivery of the PPP project is in the public interest. Ensuring that a PPP meets the public interest requires:

- ensuring that procuring the project as a PPP is in the public interest; and

- after a decision has been made to procure a project as a PPP, ensuring that the process is structured so that the project continues to be in the public interest.
