Recommended forecast sources

It is recommended that general inflation forecasts in constructing the PSC and assessing bids continue to be taken from the State budget papers, or Budget Update, whichever is the most recent available. 

As the official Victorian Government forecasts, they should be used to ensure consistency across the whole of government. The forecasts should be updated when the State budget papers are released in May and again when the Budget Update is released in December each year.
