In addition the matter referred to in 5.1 above and in accordance with the existing process within government for reporting on major projects, regular updates will be given to Cabinet on the performance of public private partnership projects. In addition, line agencies will be required to detail public private partnership project outputs in their annual reports. The Department of Premier and Cabinet will also report on the implementation of the public private partnership policy in its annual reports.
As well as being satisfying with regard to the matters contained in the annual reports concerning public private partnership projects, the Auditor-General will also carry out the duties contained in the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 (Qld).
