Jithesh John joined the Indian Economic Service in 2001. Presently he is Senior Research Officer at India's Planning Commission. His current responsibilities include evolution of institutional, regulatory and procedural reforms that are required for time-bound creation of world-class infrastructure. He has also been involved in the creation of model bidding documents and contracts for public private partnership (PPP) projects.
Jithesh has a post graduate degree in Economics from University of Madras, India. He is also qualified for lectureship in colleges in India. In 2006, he had attended a master class in PPP which was organised by PartnershipsUK in London.
