Darrin Grimsey

Darrin has been a Partner at Ernst & Young Australia since 2006. Previously he was partner PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia (1999 to 2006) during which time he was seconded to the private office of The Treasurer in Victoria (2000 to 2001). He has also been a site Engineer on the flood defence scheme with Bullen & Partners Consulting Engineers (1992 to 1993) Site Engineer on water treatment plants with Taylor Woodrow Management Contracting (1990 to 1991).

Darrin has over 20 years experience in PPP and infrastructure projects in Australia, UK and Asia including extensive and current focus on PPP and infrastructure policy, thought leadership and industry developments as well as strong and in-depth experience with government, its key stakeholders and market participants. He has a track record in developing a vibrant PPP market place and delivering projects and building and leading advisory teams.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) - (University of Nottingham, UK) and a Master of Science - Management and the Implementation of Development Projects (University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK). He is also an Affiliate member Australian Association of Chartered Accountants and a fellow of the University of Melbourne.
