Ms. Kalpana Seethepalli is an Infrastructure Economist with the World Bank. She has worked extensively on infrastructure finance operations, PPPs, infrastructure and guarantee funds, and urban development in East Asia. Kalpana has led key advisory engagements in municipal infrastructure and PPP financing, and conducted economic policy research on infrastructure, privatization and regulation. She is a member of the World Bank's Global Expert Team on Public-Private Partnerships. Kalpana has also conducted fiscal framework modelling for complex economic restructuring operations, and led fiscal sustainability and institutional risk analyses for a number of World Bank projects.
Kalpana holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management & Public Policy from the George Washington University, and an MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
