Este commenced her role at the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) in 2009, within the Partnerships Victoria unit of Commercial Division, where she has been involved in providing commercial advice and analysis in relation to the procurement of PPP projects, as well as more general policy development work and contract management support to departments/agencies. Este is currently heavily involved in working with the Department of Health on the procurement of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
Prior to joining DTF, Este worked at the Department of Transport where she was involved in providing project development and appraisal advice on transport, land use and infrastructure issues, and conducting cost benefit analyses for various business cases. She started her career at Goldman Sachs JB Were, in portfolio performance and taxation analysis. Este holds a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne.
