THE FOLLOWING SIX YEARS

- Continue to deliver new schools and TAFE facilities using the successful Public Private Partnerships Partnership model.

- Population estimates indicate that up to an additional 20 new schools will be needed by 2015-16 with the North and South West Sydney growth centres likely to account for a large portion of demand.

- The Government is planning for new TAFE facilities potentially required in the next decade and beyond to support development in North and South West Sydney.

- Upgrades to schools and TAFE facilities will be made as and when required to ensure high quality learning environments are maintained to produce successful students and provide a workforce that continues to meet changing economic needs.
