THE FOLLOWING SIX YEARS

- A requirement for greater capacity in prisons with plans for a further 1,200 new prison beds.

- An estimated $250 million for the Court Improvement Program to provide modern court services, including the separation of parties attending court, interview room facilities, legal support areas and prisoner cells.

- Police stations upgrades and replacements at places including Bowral, Gunnedah, Lake Illawarra, Liverpool, Moree, Parkes, Port Kembla and Revesby

- Improving the Keelong and Riverina juvenile justice facilities, at an estimated cost of $60 million.
