Acquire and integrate the Standard Missile 2 missile into four RAN Adelaide Class Guide Frigates at the Mid-Course Guidance standard, and acquisition of Initial Ship Outfit and Inventory Stock missiles.

Sea 1390 Phase 4B builds on the capability from Sea 1390 Phase 2 and depends on the capability to be sufficiently mature for the inclusion of this additional capability. The initial in-service date for the Guided Missile Frigate Standard Missile 2 lead ship is 2009.
