Remedial Action

The first retrofit of modified hydraulic piping did not fully rectify the problem of sea boat davit performance.

Further design work is necessary to overcome other system deficiencies. Operational limitations remain in force but they have not adversely impacted operations to date.

Fuel separability is not a problem for any of the boats when operating the fuel system in the alternative mode but a permanent solution is still being investigated.

This issue has now been resolved.

The certification process is proving problematic in some areas.

Continues to be worked with regulators but issues can become clouded by the application of contemporary as opposed to contracted requirements.
