FOC date was set at project approval before the submarine full cycle docking programme had reached maturity in terms of the length of dockings and impact of emergent work and other capability upgrades. As a result, the RCS installation schedule has been delayed. The project has been able to recover some schedule by targeting both Full and Mid Cycle dockings. However, there is no opportunity to recover the original schedule. FOC is currently planned to occur in 2016, after the final installation is completed in HMAS Collins in 2014. |
