| It is important that stakeholders are briefed on progress and/or the outcome of tender evaluations37 and/or contract negotiations. The purpose of these briefings is two-fold. Briefings provide the opportunity for input from stakeholders on their requirements and expectations. They also provide the contract manager with the opportunity to update stakeholders on any issues or concerns that may impact them. It is essential that any stakeholder briefing is conducted in a way that is fair and impartial38. Adopting an ethical transparent approach enables business to be conducted fairly, reasonably and with integrity.
