Variance Explanations

•  No Aircraft Systems Requirement Review or Preliminary Design Review for the project as the aircraft is a MOTS design.

•  The Aircraft Critical Design Review was delayed due to the Instrument landing System integration requiring re-design.

•  The Electronic Warfare data library preliminary design review was delayed due to the US Navy adopting a new design process, and the issue of classified data being unable to be released

•  The Critical Design Review for the Automated Maintenance Environment slipped by one week.

•  The Integrated Visual Environment Maintenance Trainers follow a spiral development path with several combined Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews beginning in January 2009 and continuing through until October 2009.

Note 1: Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews were combined to meet delivery targets.
