Variance Explanations

(1) Variance due to protracted commercial contract negotiations. Prior Certification Review was completed in late Jan 07. The approval to exit the Prior Certification Review was dated 01 Feb 07.

(2) The weapon is military-off-the-shelf (MOTS). Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) issues were addressed in the Prior Certification Review (PCR).

(3) Data listed is for the F/A-18 21X Build 3 (JASSM functionality) Operational Flight Program software. Variance due to the detection of software anomalies and the undertaking of corrective and preventative action.
