The remaining paragraphs (Paragraphs 1 to 3 and 14 to 19) are likely to be common to all such MoUs. These paragraphs are for:

•  Setting out the purpose of the MoU;

•  Setting out the background;

•  Establishing the status of the MoU and Joint Waste Partnering;

•  Providing a procedure for dispute resolution;

•  Agreement of the duration of the arrangements;

•  Establishing confidentiality;

•  Sharing intellectual property rights;

•  Dealing with information requests; and

•  Excluding the Partnership Act 1890.
