4.3.1 Actions and decisions to be taken by the Joint Waste Partnership should reflect what is in the best interests of all council taxpayers and the implications for individual Partners within the geographical area of [ ], and take into account what is fair and equitable for each Partner.
4.3.2 The Partners accept the need to work more closely together to provide more effective, efficient and financially viable waste services. The Joint Waste Partnership will explore the development of joint initiatives between all or some of the Partners, with or without third party authorities or private companies on waste minimisation, recovery, collection and disposal strategies.
4.3.3 The Partners agree to monitor and review the effectiveness of the strategies adopted in [ ] collectively, as well as consider the options for the future delivery of services to meet the aims and objectives of the strategies.
4.3.4 The Partners agree to work together in a spirit of mutual trust, support and respect, and to ensure that when difficulties or differences of opinion arise they are addressed quickly, honestly and openly.
4.3.5 The Partners agree in principal to share in a fair and equitable manner having regard to the statutory responsibilities each authority has, the costs and work involved in achieving the key principles and the objectives.
