Public-Private Partnerships for the Urban Environment (PPPUE)

UNDP's Public-Private Partnerships for the Urban Environment (PPPUE) facility supports the development of innovative partnerships at the local level. Focusing on assisting small- and medium-sized cities, PPPUE works with all potential stakeholders. PPPUE has three inter-related components to support developing countries. The National Programmes oversee policy development, capacity building, and pilot projects at the country level; the PPPUE Flexible Response Facility, which provides PPP expertise and support for ongoing projects that require short-term interventions; and PPPUE Global Learning Network, which utilises the powerful networking capacities of the internet to research PPP policy tools, exchange best practices and case studies on global and regional levels, and provide PPP training.
