Part of any project is the identification and management of risk. A project specific risk group should be established to identify and monitor risks throughout the life of the project. To facilitate this, an initial workshop should be used to identify the following:

The workshop is one of the early steps of a process to identify the potential risks inherent in a project. The workshop will look at risk in its widest sense including clinical, operational, financial and estates, among others, with a view to identifying ways of eliminating, reducing or managing the identified risks in a manner that will mitigate any effect on the project overall.
