28. Provided the MoI is worded with sufficient clarity, bidders should be able to tailor their responses to the PQQ's questions in order for NHS Boards to assess their suitability. The use of interviews is not encouraged and should only considered in exceptional cases, after considering written responses and references.
29. In such situations bidders may be invited to interview, provided that:
• Interviews are restricted to clarifying and testing PQQ responses;
• The sum total of time spent interviewing and evaluating bidders is not more than one day.
