3.1 Project Lifecycle

The 'Project Lifecycle', as referred to in various sections of the Scottish Capital Investment Manual, is the logical process followed from the initiation to the delivery of any project.

As Figure 2 illustrates, the Gateway Reviews align with generic Project Management Processes, SCIM phases and Key documentation.

It should be noted that Figure 2 is indicative only, and in reality the Project Management Processes, SCIM sections, and key documents will overlap onto other Gateway stages.
