It is essential that stakeholders and business or user representatives have been involved in the development of the project to date and that the Project Board or Steering Group has been effective.
An analysis of the proposed Integrated Construction Project Team will ensure that plans are in place to ensure the success of the working relationship between the client and the supply chain. In the case of Frameworks Scotland Projects, this will also include the PSCP and their respective supply chains.
Requirements for team development or training will be made explicit, including the development of partnering arrangements where applicable.
A detailed and structured Training Needs Analysis must be undertaken and a report produced identifying skills gaps and an action plan to ensure these are closed through targeted training and development. The Training Needs Analysis report should be based on the requirements of the SGHD skills competency framework.
Note: The entire membership of the integrated Construction Project Team from both the client and supply chain will be identified and their responsibilities and internal relationships made explicit in an organogram. |
