5.2.3  Programme

A number of reports will be completed prior to commissioning and readiness for service, notably:

•  The cost and budget reconciliation report

•  The actual schedule against planned activity report

•  The Risk Register report

•  Reports for communication and external relations activities

•  Reports on environmental performance, etc

The majority of these reports will be contained in the last part of each section of the Project Execution Plan, which should contain all the necessary data to produce the handover plan.

Note:

Key at this stage is the handover plan, including the programme for commissioning and testing and staff training, particularly where this involves a transition to a new way of working.

Prior to handover taking place all new operational processes should have been thoroughly worked out, tested and be ready to go 'live'.

Performance management plans with appropriate Key Performance Indicators will be in place.

An on-going evaluation programme is required to include Post Project and Post Occupancy Evaluations.
