In an attempt to implement an interregional development on capacity building initiative on public-private partnership for infrastructure development a three day workshop was organized by ESCAP in collaboration with a national Counterpart IIFC. The workshop highlighted PPP process flow in Bangladesh. Board of Investment (BOI) and Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) jointly organized an international training on Public-Private Partnership. The main purpose of the workshop was to provide an understanding about the complexities of PPP arrangements. In the workshop, coordination amongst IDB member countries in developing PPP projects was suggested. The workshop offered an opportunity to share country and project-specific experiences to the participants.
