The PPP Ad Hoc Committee, Working group of Committee, and all other related organizations and institutions have worked extensively on drafting Concession law. Extensive discussions and meetings were organized during this period, including official requests to government and non-governmental organizations to receive comments, suggestions and feedbacks on draft Concession. Cooperation and coordinating activities have been carried out with United Nations Development Program, UNICEF, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, USAID and other organizations.
As a result of this collaborative work, the State policy on PPPIs was submitted and approved by the Government of Mongolia in October 2009. The Law on concessions was approved by the Parliament of Mongolia on January 28, 2010.
