Extensive capacity building activities were organized since the November 2008, after establishment of the Parliament PPP Ad Hoc Committee of Mongolia and working group.
The members of Parliament PPP Ad Hoc Committee of Mongolia and working groups have undertaken study tour to USA to study from US experience to implement PPP projects and initiatives, with particular focus on legal and regulatory framework of PPP. In addition, international consultants engaged through technical assistance projects of UN, ADB, World Bank, USAID have worked with representatives of Parliament PPP Ad Hoc Committee, Working groups to build their capacities as well as to assist in the drafting of state policy on PPPIs and concession law.
