9  AUTHORITY LEAD OFFICERS

9.1  Each Authority shall appoint one of its officers to be the Authority Lead Officer.

9.2  Each Authority Lead Officer shall be responsible to the Joint Committee for ensuring that his/her Authority provides the support necessary to secure the effective achievement of the Project. In this context, "support" shall include the involvement and time of capable officers, the provision of information and the prompt consideration of matters referred to his/her Authority for determination.

9.3  An Authority Lead Officer may be an appropriate officer of the relevant Authority, including a Seconded Project Officer, but may not be a Dedicated Project Officer.
