•  There are currently 18 major capital school projects under construction, representing a further investment of approximately £121m including Whitehouse Primary School, Newtownabbey, Banbridge Academy, Magherafelt High School, Taughmonagh Primary School, Scoil na Fuiseoige Belfast, St Mary's Primary School Newcastle, Lagan College Belfast, and Tor Bank Special School.

•  The Belfast Metropolitan College campus at Springvale/E3 (Employability, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise) is due to be completed by January 2012.

•  The University of Ulster's redevelopment of its York Street campus is ongoing and is due to be completed by 2018.

•  Work commenced in 2010/2011 on major refurbishment at three Belfast libraries - Falls, Shankill and Whiterock.

•  Work also began in 2011/12 on major refurbishment at Dungannon Library.
