The Closing Process formalises acceptance of the project (Gateway 4) or phase and brings it to an orderly end. (Gateway 5)
For small projects with tangible results the procedure may consist of a simple meeting with the team to acknowledge attainment of the project goals and writing a brief final report on the project.
All capital projects have a mandatory requirement to undertake evaluation at project completion and post occupancy phases.
For capital projects below the delegated limits, NHSScotland Bodies are required to prepare and submit an Overview Report to the SGHD.
