16.3.1 Parties should be aware of, and the Contractor should warrant that it will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice so as to secure equality of opportunity in relation to their provision of goods and services and secure subcontractor compliance. Part IV of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 prohibits discrimination in relation to the provision of goods, facilities and services and the disposal and management of premises, mirroring the comparable provisions in the sex and race legislation.
