(a)  Required outcome

Selection of partners from the supply chain referred to in paragraph 1.2.2 above for specific New Projects shall be carefully considered to ensure that services are provided by the most appropriate partner and that continuous improvement is achieved in the management of the supply chain.

(b)  Scope

(i)  Subject always to the terms of paragraph 4.5 of Schedule Part 6 (New Project Pricing Report) hubco shall ensure the appropriate engagement of supply chain partners during (and before) the New Project Approvals Process, as appropriate, from conception to enable improved outcomes and best available value for money.

(ii)  hubco shall review the suitability of supply chain partners to undertake services in relation to a New Project, paying regard, but not limited to, the following:

(1)  availability of resources, where appropriate, to progress the New Project through the design, construction and operation phases of the New Project; and

(2)  ability to provide a level of service on a constant and recurring basis throughout the development of the New Project.
