The Contract covers all key commercial terms for a health sector PPP project in Scotland and can be used for the redevelopment of existing facilities or the development of new facilities. The Contract essentially sets out the obligations on the PPP Company or Contractor (the "Contractor") to design and construct the facility and provide certain services once it is built. The SGHD expects the Contract to be used substantially un-amended although a certain degree of customisation of the Contract will be necessary to reflect the individual features of various schemes. However project specific justification must be given to any such customisation and must be approved by the SGHD.
