Where an emergency occurs which requires immediate maintenance, the Contractor merely has to notify the Board of the action it is taking and seek to minimise any disruption caused. The difference between such "emergency" or "ad hoc" works, and those carried out in accordance with the agreed programme, is that the Contractor is not relieved from any performance deductions that may result in the former case.
