It is important, that the Board can monitor the provision of services (including maintenance) in the Facilities to ensure that it is receiving the service it has contracted to get and in particular that the Service Level Specifications are being met (see paragraph 7).
The Contractor must provide details of performance failure to the Board, and the Board can inspect the adequacy of the contract performance monitoring arrangements and carry out sample checks. The system for monitoring and deductions for poor performance is set out in Part 14 of the Schedule "the Performance Monitoring System".
