13.1  Staff Employed in the Facilities

The Contract gives the Board some control over the Contractor's personnel working at the Facility, given the particular sensitivities involved in interacting with potentially vulnerable groups such as patients, in particular:-

13.1.1  the Board can refuse access to the Site to any employee or sub-contractor of the Contractor who the Board believes is not a fit and proper person or who is likely to have a material adverse effect on the Clinical Services; and

13.1.2  the Board may also require written information about those whom the Contractor proposes will have access to Board premises.

The Contractor must ensure that its staff comply with the policies of the Board and receive the necessary training to perform the services. All employees likely to have contact with children or patients must complete an enhanced Disclosure Scotland form.
