As for Board Instructed Variations, in terms of Clause 41 of the Contract, the Contractor will only get "Time" for this type of event, but note that in terms of the Variation Procedure (see paragraph 10) the Contractor may get a degree of compensation from the Board either through the operation of the sharing mechanism or because the Board is responsible entirely for the cost of implementing the Relevant Change in Law.
