When corrupt gifts or fraud is the reason for termination (paragraph 26), the Board will pay the outstanding balance of the senior debt, less the value of any assets that the Contractor retains after termination. This is provided because funders require some certainty of repayment, even where the Contractor's conduct has led to early termination. The Contractor will however lose all of its anticipated future returns.
