9.  UTILITY CHARGES

9.1  Charges in relation to water, sewerage and drainage shall be included in the Monthly Service Payment in accordance with paragraph 1.1 of Section B of this Part 18 of the Schedule on the basis of costs reasonably incurred by Project Co and supported by an appropriate invoice from Project Co's supplier.

9.2  The Board is responsible for all connection, line rental and usage telephone charges.

Water

9.3  An adjustment will be made on an annual basis in respect of loss of water between the utility site meter and the building meters to be known as the Water Leakage Adjustment which shall be calculated in accordance with the following formula:

9.3.1  WLA means the Water Leakage Adjustment;

9.3.2  AWUC means average water unit cost being the average cost of a cubic meter of water calculated by dividing the total invoiced cost by the number of cubic meters supplied (as derived from invoices from the water utility supplier in the relevant Contract Year);

9.3.3  WCu means water consumption in cubic meters per the Utility Site Meter;

9.3.4  WCB means water consumption in cubic meters per the Building Meter;

9.3.5  Utility Site Meter means the meter owned by Scottish Water at the mains water entry point to the Site; and

9.3.6  Building Meter means the meter installed and read by Project Co at the entry point of the water main to each building on the Site.

9.4  At the end of each Contract Year, Project Co shall perform a reconciliation between the statutory undertaker's reading of the Utility Site Meter and the sum of Project Co's readings of the Building Meters.
