1.9.1 The first point of contact with the contractor should be through the Project Director or where agreed the Project Manager. The Commissioning Manager or a member of the Commissioning Team should be present at site meetings to ensure that any potential problems can be identified easily and resolved.
1.9.2 It is essential to build a good working relationship with the contractor to facilitate co-ordination of post contract works with the commissioning master plan. Whilst the Project Director and Project Manager have particular roles in maintaining progress against the specification, Commissioning Managers must also develop good relations with members of the construction project team to achieve practical solutions to identified issues.
1.9 3 It is essential that any changes required by the Commissioning Manager/team follow an approved formal change control process.
