2.4  Risk Assessment

2.4.1  The Risk Log for the Project must cover those issues related to the commissioning process. A key part of the risk log will include a risk assessment of:

•  late delivery of the healthcare facility;

•  early delivery of the healthcare facility;

•  problems in bringing the building into use which may delay full operational commissioning; and

•  longer commissioning period than originally envisaged in the Full Business Case, due to pressing operational needs.

2.4.2  This is essentially an updating of part of the risk management strategy in the Full Business Case. The risk management plan must be updated in the light of progress on the scheme and issues, which may have come to light as the commissioning master plan is being compiled. The Risk Log must form the main agenda for the Project Board.
