The end result of the process should be a summary table in the form shown in Table 1 above. In some cases this may indicate one option is clearly the preferred option as it is both a lower cost and higher scoring option than any of the alternatives. However in many cases there may not be an unambiguous preference emerging from the process. In such cases a judgement needs to be made in relation to the trade off between cost and the scored elements of the evaluation.
