Footnotes

The standard form Contract contains a number of footnotes, which are either drawn from SoPC4, the Defra derogations guidance or WIDP's direction of travel paper (December 2009) to provide background explanation in relation to certain provisions or identify certain key issues that the parties will need to consider. The standard form Contract will therefore need to be analysed and reviewed in detail to ensure that its terms (and their impact) are clearly understood by the relevant parties. The footnotes should be removed as appropriate before finalisation of the document for execution and/or release to bidders.
