1.4  Exclusion of Legislation

This Contract is entered into under the PFI.  This Contract is excluded from Part II of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 by operation of paragraph 4 of the Construction Contracts (England and Wales) Exclusion Order 1998.  The Contractor acknowledges that the operation of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 upon any Ancillary Document shall not affect the Parties' rights or obligations under this Contract.4
